Intro To Scentwork
This is the new, exciting, detection-style sport for your pet dog. Dogs have an amazing sense of smell and a natural desire to hunt. The sport is designed to develop your dog’s natural scenting abilities by using their desire to hunt and their love of toys, food and exercise. It’s a great way for your dog to have fun, build confidence, and burn lots of mental and physical energy. Each dog will be introduced to scent search exercises and handlers will learn how to read their dog’s body language even better than they already do. Dog/handler teams will work one at a time and handlers are encouraged to observe and learn from each other’s exercises. This is a fun and exciting new class that will open up new routes of communication between you and your dog — and both exhilarate and tire your dog!
The class fee is $125.00 and runs for 5 weeks. Dogs come to all five classes.
